Family Ties Cookbook
There are 3 files here in addition to this one which contains directions.
2 of the files, Cookbook(1) and Cookbook(2) require AdobeReader
which most people have on their PC. If not, there is a 3rd file
titled Adobe Reader.htm. Click on it and follow the instructions to install the latest version.
Now for the 2 Cookbook files.
Cookbook(1) is basically for
use on the PC. Click on it's icon and the title page will be
displayed. It starts with an index on page 3 and each recipe
is on a page of it's own even tho some are pretty short.
Cookbook(2) is for anyone
who has a reasonably good printer. Each sheet is printed front
and back on a normal lettersize 8 1/2 x 11) sheet (that's 4 pages
on 1 sheet). It's a little complicated but follow these instructions
and there shouldn't really be a problem.
1) Click on Cookbook(2).
2) Click on FILE/PRINT which should show your printer name, letter-size and Portrait. Click OK.
3) It should indicate Print Range=ALL. "Pages=1-100"
and a Subset of "All pages in range" Click on the little arrow next to "All Pages in range"
and select "Odd pages only". Click on "Choose paper size from PDF" Then click OK.
This will print 50 pages. Keep them in order as the come out of the printer.
4) When finished, remove any blank paper from the printer
and place the printed sheets back in the feed so the
blank side can be printed on.
5) Repeat step 3 except this time select "Even pages only"
6) Cut the pages in half. If you don't have a paper cutter
take the sheets to your local Office Depot or Staples and
they will do it for you. They might even punch holes.
7) Punch holes to fit whatever small binder you have.
8) Any problems... I know you can handle them!
